FAYETTEVILLE -- The staff for newly hired University of Arkansas football Coach Ryan Silverfield took further shape on Sunday with a couple more moves.
The Razorbacks are set to add Chad Lunsford as special teams coordinator fresh off a one-year stint in the same role at Auburn, CBS Sports reported, while the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette learned two-year Arkansas offensive line coach Eric Mateos will not be retained.
Mateos' offensive front was the highest-graded individual unit on the team in 2025.
The online site Pro Football Network rated the Razorback offensive line the nation's top unit during the regular season with a grade of 92.4. Texas A&M, Missouri, Georgia and Ole Miss rounded out the rest of the top five.
