A dramatic video captured NYPD officers diving into the freezing waters of a busy section of the East River to rescue a man struggling to reach the Brooklyn shoreline, according to authorities.

A 911 call was received around 1:03 p.m. on Nov. 30 about a person in the water near Furman Street and Montague Street, across the river from Manhattan’s Pier 11, where dozens of ferries dock and depart each day, according to the NYPD.

Two officers from the NYPD’s Harbor Unit dove into the water to rescue the 67-year-old man.

Upon arriving, cops discovered a 67-year-old man struggling to swim to shore, police said.
