ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — It was a frustrating morning for many residents near Grant Park after what neighbors say were more than 100 car break-ins Saturday night into Sunday morning.
“(The police officer) actually told us that he was going to give us one piece of paper because he was literally running out of case paperwork and he let us know that we were about the 112th person or car that had been broken into last night,” Rachel Torell said.
Torell, who lives on Waldo Street between Hansell Street and Glenwood Avenue, said 11 vehicles on her block — including hers and her husband’s — were broken into.
