ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Here are my five takes from the Buffalo Bills’ 39-34 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Highmark Stadium:

1. When it was all over, when the dramatic twists and turns finally showed mercy on heart rates and came to a stop, you found yourself admiring what you witnessed as if taking in a captivating painting.

This might not have been a masterpiece in the purist sense of the word. However, it was worthy of a place in the figurative art gallery of memorable games in the soon-to-be-former home of the Bills.

“The toughness of the football team was on display, full display, taking it down to the wire,” Sean McDermott said.
