Executive director of Old Glory Honor Flight recovering following surgery to remove brain tumor

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Northeast Wisconsin is sending well-wishes to an important member of the Old Glory Honor Flight team.

Executive director Diane Macdonald is recovering from surgery to remove a brain tumor called a meningioma, which was discovered following a scheduled hip replacement

The organization announced the news on Sunday in the interest of transparency. It is promising that programming efforts for 2026 and beyond will continue uninterrupted while Diane recovers

She is a founding member of the organization and she was named its first executive director in 2021
