SUPERIOR, Wis. (Northern News Now) - After an officer-involved shooting early Sunday morning, there was a wide range of reactions from the city of Superior.

From the feelings of shock to fear, the city of Superior felt it all.

It’s fair to say the shooting was a shock to many.

Some members voiced their outrage over the gun violence, which they feel is now a common occurrence in the area.

A sentiment shared by South Range resident Dori Ana Carlson, who drove to Superior early Sunday morning to check on her family, who lived just a mile away from the shooting.

“Honestly, it’s another shooting in this area,” said Carlson. “There’s a lot of gun violence and a lot of violence in general in this area. I know countless people who have gotten stabbed and shot and just threatened.”
