Metal Sculpture at Former Greyhound Track

The Council has approved an eye-catching project at the site of the former greyhound track on Front Street, Merrington Lane, Spennymoor.

The approved application, DM/25/02939/FPA, entails the erection of a striking metal sculpture featuring two three-dimensional greyhounds crafted from Corten Steel, known for its distinctive rust-brown appearance.

Officially decided on December 4.

Subdivision of Bowlees Farmhouse

A housing development in Wolsingham is also on the list.
