Jalen Hurts has had plenty of time to reflect on what has gone wrong for himself and the Philadelphia Eagles .
The Eagles enter Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers on a two-game losing skid. The offense is slumping. And Hurts, after rattling off one of the best stretches of his career, isn’t playing well.
All of that led to Hurts doing a deep dive during this nine-day mini bye between their Black Friday loss to the Chicago Bears and “Monday Night Football.” And the Super Bowl MVP is hopeful his extensive self-scout will yield better results.
Hurts was asked on Thursday about what he learned from last week’s 24-15 loss to the Bears, a game in which he turned the ball over twice and completed only 55.9% of his passes.
