On Friday at 2 a.m. a winter storm watch was released by the National Weather Service valid from Saturday 7 a.m. until Monday 1 a.m. for Crawford County.
The weather service comments, "Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 6 inches or more possible in the most persistent snow. Winds could gust up to 30 mph and produce some blowing and drifting snow."
"Travel could be very difficult due to slippery road conditions and poor visibility," says the weather service. "Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation."
