The M4 is partially blocked eastbound with queueing traffic after a crash near Swansea.

Traffic monitoring system Inrix has issued an update to say there has been a crash between Junction 42 at the A483 (Swansea East / Briton Ferry) and Junction 41 (Baglan / Pentyla).

Traffic Wales cameras show the worst of the delays are at Taibach East.

Delays of 40 minutes

Severe delays of 36 minutes have been reported by the AA with delays increasing on M4 Eastbound between J42 A483 (Swansea East / Briton Ferry) and J37 A4229 (Pyle / Porthcawl). The average speed is 10mph.
