It looks like a craft "bomb" went off in Heidi Forward's house, she said.
She has a mix of art supplies, half-complete projects and finalized holiday gifts scattered throughout her workshop and across her counter.
Forward is one of many makers in the London area crafting holiday gifts this season.
“The thought that goes into it is a lot more than just clicking a link on Amazon,” Forward said. “Every piece tells a story. It’s memories, tradition and all those good things.”
Over the past few years, Forward has been using a laser engraver to make custom wood signs and ornaments for her friends. She often puts the family’s last name on the item or engraves it with an image of the person’s passion or interest.
