According to sources in Canyon, the Grinch has been spotted in the area lately — and market vendors will be seen with holiday goodies for sale at a small-town style Christmas event Dec. 13. Here's how to partake in the upcoming holiday fun.

Reward offered for Grinch, sought ahead of Christmas

There is an active Grinch hunt underway by the Randall County Sheriff’s Office and Canyon Police Department, and citizens are encouraged to join the posse, sponsored by Canyon Main Street. There is a reward for finding him.

He will be hiding in various downtown businesses from Dec. 8 through Dec. 23. He is described as being 2-foot tall, with green skin, an evil smile and a red Christmas hat.
