CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Police were shot at after a car chase ended in a crash on I-64 late Sunday night, according to Chesapeake police.

Chesapeake police say they were notified that Virginia Beach police were pursuing a stolen vehicle, which had crashed near the 464 ramp on I-64 around 11:45 p.m. The suspects were shooting at Virginia Beach police as they attempted to flee on foot.

No officers were injured, according to Chesapeake police. All suspects were taken into custody.
