Nagpur : In a statement that has set political circles abuzz, Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik has advised the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) to draw lessons from the Congress party’s recent resurgence at the national level.

Speaking on the current political landscape of Maharashtra during Winter Session in Nagpur, Sarnaik drew a sharp parallel between the opposition’s situation in the State and the Congress party’s trajectory in the Lok Sabha. He pointed out that initially, the Congress did not possess the requisite numerical strength to claim the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) post at the Centre. However, through persistent effort and continuous groundwork, the party managed to secure the necessary numbers.
