Parts of Scotland have been hit with several weather warnings for this week including an amber alert for high speed winds. The latest maps from the Met Office show much of the UK covered in a swathe of warnings signalling widespread disruptive weather as a result of Storm Bram.
Scotland's amber weather warning is for wind as the northwest should brace for 80mph gales. Meanwhile, a second less severe alert has been issued for the entire country. It comes after a yellow wind warning for the Highlands and Eilean Siar was issued on Sunday (December 6) that is in place for this week.
