It's fair to say we've seen plenty of wintry conditions in Glasgow lately, but this week is to welcome some unprecedently warm temperatures - along with plenty of rain, naturally.

While some areas further northwest of Glasgow are facing wind warnings throughout the week, we can expect the mercury to reach as high as 15C- a whopping 8C higher than the city's average December temperature of 7C. And along with warmer conditions will come yet another spell of rain that's expected to come and go as we continue through the week.

Monday (December 8) is to get the week off to a showery start, with rainfall expected through much of the morning, and a few dry and bright spells here and there into the afternoon. Temperatures are to reach a maximum of 10C.
