Storm Bram named as 20-hour 'danger to life' warning issued View Image
Storm Bram has been named by Met Éireann as a 20-hour weather warning is in place across the region.
Forecasters at the Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for rain from 6pm this evening (Monday, December 8) until 2pm tomorrow (December 9).
A second yellow weather warning is also in place across parts of the South West and Wales for wind, as coastal routes are sea fronts may be battered by spray and large waves.
Forecasters at the Devon-based Met Office have warned of flooding, power cuts, and disruption to transport.
During the rain warning many places will see up to 80mm of rain fall, but some may see up to 100mm fall.
There is a chance of fast-flowing floodwater which may pose a danger to life.
