Storm Bram has been officially named by Met Éireann as Brits prepare for a blustery spell of weather.
Yellow weather warnings have been issued today (December 8) for both wind and rain , with parts of the UK braced for battering 85mph winds in the coming days .
Met Office forecasters issued the alerts today, urging people to stay alert for flood risks and fierce winds. Some areas could be drenched with 80-90mm of rainfall during the warning period, while certain spots may witness 100mm.
