Traffic crash, Ridge Road

Police responded at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 9 to reports of a driver who had hit several mailboxes and fled. Police found a debris field in the area of the reported incident and identified three mailboxes that had been struck. Meanwhile, the suspect’s vehicle was identified as being involved in a crash in Interstate 271 near Ridge Road. The investigation was ongoing at the time of the report.

Impaired driver, Center Road

A driver was pulled over at 10:38 p.m. Nov. 9 for driving outside marked lanes. The officer reportedly smelled a strong odor of alcohol on the driver’s breath during the stop, and the driver was arrested for suspicion of operating a motor vehicle impaired.
