DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Davenport family is using creativity to give back this holiday season.
The Mildren family lives in the west end of Davenport and they have more than 120 holiday-themed inflatables on display in their yard.
It’s an idea that was sparked by the family’s 16-year-old son Brayden Mildren a couple of years back.
“We are just happy that we have so many things to people to come out and see, especially the Legos and plus it’s snowing, like a miracle,” said Brayden Mildren.
The family said they host the holiday display to collect Legos for kids in Iowa City hospitals, with a special focus on kids who have autism.
The family plans to donate the Legos after Christmas.
The display up until the end of the year.
