Three abandoned 'wolf hybrid' puppies found wandering the streets of Preston have been granted a new lease of life thanks to the swift action of animal rescuers.
The young creatures, believed to be around seven to eight months old, were found in the city after being left to 'roam the neighbourhood'. Lancashire Police captured the animals and took them to kennels.
There, the puppies faced the threat of euthanasia on the eighth day if no one claimed them. Thankfully, 8 Below Husky Rescue intervened, taking over responsibility for the puppies' care.
Described as 'emaciated and frightened' at the time of rescue, the puppies - which rescuers confirmed as 'wolf hybrid' rather than purebred wolves - have since made remarkable progress under the team's supervision. The re
