DEDHAM, Mass. —

Testimony resumes Monday in the murder trial of Brian Walshe, the Massachusetts father accused of killing and dismembering his wife.

The Cohasset man is accused of killing and dismembering Ana Walshe, 39, around New Year's Day in 2023. Prosecutors allege that Brian Walshe disposed of his wife's remains in dumpsters around the area.

New pieces of evidence including a pair of shears, a hatchet, and a hacksaw were shown to the jury Friday. Heather Sullivan, a retired Massachusetts State Police trooper, said the hand tools found during the search of dumpsters at a Swampscott apartment complex.

After Sullivan's testimony, Dr. Richard Atkinson from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was called to testify about his review of evidence from the case. His testimony is expe
