Cambridge OPP is searching for suspects in a shooting on Highway 401 during a possible road rage incident near Guelph Line.
OPP said the shooting occurred Monday, at approximately 1:30 a.m., between Guelph Line and Highway 6 south, closing that section of the highway.
Officers are on the lookout for a dark sedan, after a red Hyundai was shot at, leaving bullet holes in the driver’s side door, police said. There were two people in the victim’s vehicle at the time, police said, but no injuries were reported.
Any witnesses or drivers with dash cam can call Cambridge OPP at 519-654-0150. The highway has reopened.
