Guelph police are looking for four men captured on security video in a 20-second theft from a jewelry store.
Police said on Monday, shortly before 1 a.m., they received two alarm calls from a south-end jewelry store, at Kortright Road West and Edinburgh Road South, and — despite arriving just a few minutes after the alarms — were too late to catch the theft in progress.
Officers did see a rear door had been pried open, with video showing the men stealing a number of items before fleeing 20 seconds later.
Two of the men were described as having a medium build, with one wearing a black jacket, black balaclava, black pants, black and white Converse shoes, red gloves and carrying a crowbar, while the other had on a black sweater, black pants, black balaclava, black shoes and white gloves.
