STARK COUNTY, Ohio — Jackson Township police are investigating a shooting that sent a 25-year-old man to the hospital early Monday morning.

According to Jackson Township police, officers were called to Diamond Royale, located at 4675 Munson Street NW, around 3:14 a.m. Monday for a reported shooting.

When they arrived, police say they found a 25-year-old man who had been shot once.

Jackson Township Fire Department crews transported the victim to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center, where he is receiving treatment. His condition was not released.

According to the department, the suspected shooter — a 23-year-old man — has been identified and is cooperating with investigators.
