A century-old cottage , designed by celebrated architect Richard Sundeleaf for his young family in Southeast Portland, sold for $27,000 over its $985,000 asking price.
The 0.12-acre property on Southeast 7th Avenue in the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood received multiple offers after it was placed on the market Sept. 22. One offer was accepted seven days later.
The transaction closed Oct. 28. The final price was $1,012,000.
“We had several showings as well as two busy open houses,” said Robin Springer who shared the listing with Melissa Ewbank , both of Windermere Realty Trust.
The property faces Sellwood Park and is near Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge trails and access to the Willamette River.
