MILILANI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Two teens are recovering Monday morning after an e-bike crash in Mililani.

It happened at about 8:40 p.m., Sunday night, at Alapoai Street and Kuahelani Avenue.

Emergency Medical Services officials tell us a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were riding tandem when they were involved in a collision with a car.

The pair were not wearing helmets and suffered serious injuries.

They were both rushed to the emergency room for care.,
