LANCASTER, Ohio — Dec. 5, 2025 — The Fairfield County Foundation has announced its most successful “36-Hour Give” to date, raising an unprecedented $945,784 during its annual Giving Tuesday event. With the help of $100,000 in matching funds , this year’s total impact reached $1,045,784 for local nonprofits and community funds.
The marathon fundraising effort kicked off at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, and concluded 36 hours later on Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. Organizers say donations surged well beyond expectations, marking an 83% increase over last year’s total.
This year’s momentum was boosted significantly by a generous matching gift from the Lloyd F. and Diann L. Helber Fund , which Foundation leaders say helped energize donors across the county.
