Iowa State football formally introduced new head coach Jimmy Rogers on Monday morning in Ames.

ISU president Wendy Wintersteen and Cyclones athletics director Jamie Pollard joined Rogers at the podium.

Rogers recalled being an assistant on the 2018 SDSU team that played a lightning-delayed (and ultimately canceled) game at Jack Trice when fans continued to stay in the stands. "These people are nuts," he said he remembered thinking — in the best way possible.

Pollard briefly introduced Rogers and handed him a No. 34 Cyclones jersey for a photo opp. Rogers is the 34th coach in Iowa State history.
