Snow blanketed Iowa again over the weekend, causing dangerous driving conditions for many drivers across the state.
The storm brought snowfall across Iowa starting Saturday, Dec. 6, with Ames and other parts of central and northwest Iowa receiving upwards of 8 inches of snow by Sunday morning when the flurries had subsided. Des Moines received nearly 2 inches of snow.
Troopers from the Iowa State Patrol were busy responding to crashes in the storm. While a few people were injured, no fatalities were reported, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
