More than eight years after the abduction and the sexual assault of a popular woman actor, the verdict in the case on Monday, in which actor Dileep, the alleged mastermind, was acquitted has come as a surprise for Bina Paul, film editor and one of the founding members of the Women in Cinema Collective (WCC), which was formed in the aftermath of the 2017 incident.
