A man has died and a woman is in custody following a domestic incident in St. Cloud, police say.

St. Cloud PD said officers were called to the 1200 block of Washington Memorial Drive just after 4 a.m. Monday and arrived to find a man suffering from a stab wound.

Despite lifesaving efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police took a 23-year-old woman into custody without incident, and she is being held in jail on pending homicide charges.

"The suspect and victim were in a domestic relationship and there is no threat to the public," police say.

The identities of those involved will be released at a later time.
