The best walks to do over Christmas have been revealed in a new study - although the best one may surprise you. When you think of a winter walk you’re probably picturing a magical woodland, or maybe a hike up a snow-topped hill.
You’re probably not thinking of a walk along the beach. Yet Barmouth beach in North Wales has been named the UK’s best Christmas walk by researchers at Go Outdoors.
