CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - One person is hospitalized in “stable but critical condition” after a shooting in Clarksville.

Police said Monday morning that details on the shooting are limited, but a department spokesperson confirmed the shooting happened Sunday night along Hawkins Road.

He said a suspect fled after the shooting, striking at least one vehicle during their escape.

Further information on the events leading up to the shooting and the investigation was not immediately available. Authorities said the case is active.
