LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (WSMV) - A Lawrence County School Board member is now accused of violating an order of protection against his ex-wife, according to an arrest report.
Dr. Noah Chad Shannon, who was arrested before Thanksgiving, is accused of contacting someone who worked with his ex-wife, stating he would “financially ruin her” if the protection order wasn’t dropped.
The report states that Shannon alleged he paid $10,000 for an attorney just to mess with his ex.
Shortly after a warrant was issued for his arrest, Shannon turned himself in to the Lawrenceburg police. He was charged with violation of an order of protection.
A “conditional” was put in place and signed by Shannon and the victim, but police did not elaborate on the terms of that document.
