CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - One person is dead and several others are injured following a crash in Clarksville Friday night.
THP reports that the crash happened on Dover Road near South Liberty Church Road on Friday evening. Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed that one person was killed in the crash.
THP said the crash happened after a Honda Fit ran a red light while driving the wrong way on Dover Road. It hit three other vehicles — a Chevrolet Malibu, Nissan Kicks and Nissan Versa — that were stopped at the light.
The driver of the Fit, a 56-year-old North Carolina man, died from his injuries. He was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, per THP.
