‘Grinch in real life’: Moline police poke fun at porch pirate

MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) - Moline police are searching for a porch pirate who they say is a “Grinch in real life.”

In a Facebook post, Moline police poked fun at a “Grinch” they say walked up the steps of a home in the 1100 block of 29th Street and took packages.

The man then got into a “blueberry looking” getaway car that was waiting down the street, Moline police said.

Police are asking anyone with information on the porch pirate or the getaway driver to message Moline police on Facebook or call Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities at 309-762-9500.
