Downtown Baton Rouge's long-awaited Main Street Market , at 501 Main St., is now open six days a week for breakfast and lunch. Two restaurants are open out of five, River & Roots coffee shop and Louisiana Creole Creations. Other restaurants, including The Cozy Griddle, Sapor Indian Fusion and Vivian’s Rotisserie & Grill, will open within this month.
The market will offer coffee, breakfast and lunch six days a week from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
After more than two years of renovations, the bright and open meeting place of downtown Baton Rouge is ready for visitors. Big River Economic and Agricultural Development Alliance runs and oversees Main Street Market.
