WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Legoland Florida Resort kicked off the holiday season with a cosmic twist, lighting up its 30-foot LEGO Christmas Tree and revealing the launch date for its new space-themed rollercoaster .
Emily Calandrelli, acclaimed science communicator, beloved TV host, aerospace engineer, and the 100th woman in space, led the countdown to illuminate the massive brick-built tree, blending real-world space passion with LEGO’s imaginative magic.
Above the celebration, a choreographed drone show featured rockets, LEGO bricks, and the new Space Creature character, setting the stage for Galacticoaster’s interstellar adventure, launching officially on Feb. 27.
