MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Students in West Virginia University’s Clay Club will offer their handmade ceramics to the community during the group’s winter pottery sale on Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Douglas O. Blaney Lobby of the Canady Creative Arts Center.

The sale features one-of-a-kind pieces — from mugs and vases to jewelry and figurines — crafted by ceramics students and other club members. Shoppers can browse for holiday gifts or pick up a new favorite mug while supporting opportunities that help student artists expand their skills beyond the studio.

Proceeds fund visiting artists, club activities and student travel, including attendance at the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts annual conference and WVU’s month-long Ceramics in China Study Abroad program.
