Chrysler is recalling more than 70,000 vehicles for a software malfunction that may increase the risk of a crash.

According to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration , a faulty instrument panel cluster display in select 2025-2026 Ram pickup trucks may appear blank — hiding critical vehicle information drivers need to know.

“A software error may cause the instrument panel cluster display to be blank,” the recall states.

The NHTSA said this hides information from drivers about the vehicle, such as brake systems and transmission systems.

As such, these vehicles fail federal motor vehicle safety standards.

Vehicles included in the recall are certain 2025-2026:

Ram 1500 Pickups

Ram 2500 Pickups

Ram 3500 Pickups

Ram 3500 Cab Chassis

4500 Ram Cab Chassis

Ram 5500 C
