(Gray News) – Miss Jamaica Universe 2025, Dr. Gabrielle Henry, remains in intensive care after falling during the preliminary competition in November.

Henry suffered a serious fall through an opening on the stage while performing her walk during the evening gown competition, the Miss Universe Organization said Monday in a statement.

Initial reports from The Associated Press said Henry was not badly hurt when she fell off the stage.

Henry, however, suffered severe injuries and was taken to the hospital immediately, where she remains in the ICU and requires 24-hour specialist supervision, the Miss Universe Organization said.

Henry is expected to be transferred to a hospital in Jamaica in the coming days for continued treatment.
