TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Arizona Men’s Basketball team is now tops in the country.

In the new AP Poll released this morning, December 8, the Wildcats moved up one place to claim the top spot.

The climb in the polls follows Arizona’s convincing 97-68 win over Auburn Saturday night.

Previous number one Purdue lost 81-58 to number ten Iowa State.

Purdue fell to number 6 and Iowa State moved up six spots to number four.

Michigan moved up to number two, Duke moved up to number three, and UConn rounded out the top five.
