SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Part of Chatham Road in Springfield will be closed for water main repairs.

Northbound lanes Chatham Road between Cherry Road and Laurel will be reduced for repairs to a 10-inch water main by the CWLP Water Department.

Lanes will be closed until road surface repairs are done.

Drivers are told to take alternate routes and drive slowly around the work zone.
