Tio’s Diner opened to a small, local crowd in late November in order to test the waters, the owners and general managers said.
A ribbon cutting on Monday formally introduced the Route 22 diner to its neighbors.
“We’re excited by the support we’ve received and can’t wait for more people to discover us,” General Manager Arturo Bravo said.
Tio’s Diner, located at 1102 Memorial Parkway (Route 22), features an all-American classic breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, and a variety of special menu items inspired by the head chef’s own culinary journey.
The diner is open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Customers who popped in from Phillipsburg, Lopatcong, Hackensack and beyond complimented the shortstack pancakes and Greek, Mexican and Italian classics and freshly brewed coffee all day long.
