This is Jan Jahanzeb and Israr Niazal - they are two teenage rapists who a judge wanted you to see and read about. At a sentencing hearing at Warwick Crown Court today (December 8, Her Honour judge Sylvia De Bertodano decided to lift restrictions that would have prevented the pair, who are both aged 17, from being named due to their ages.

Representations were made by CoventryLive and the Press Association, the BBC and Associated News for the usual reporting restrictions around under-18-year-olds to be lifted. Judge De Bertodano said admitted that the move was 'rare' but ruled that their identities and images are in the public interest.
