A nursing assistant at a New Hampshire hospital has been charged with sexually assaulting a child, according to police.

Manchester police said 25-year-old Alexander Colbath, a nursing assistant at a local hospital, was arrested on Friday following a report made several days earlier saying that he had sexually assaulted a child being treated at the hospital.

Police would not say what hospital Colbath worked at.

He is charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault and was scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Manchester District Court.

Police said their investigation is ongoing, but no further details were released.
