A mother and daughter have died after a fire at an apartment complex in Framingham, Massachusetts, last month.
The women were rescued from the blaze at 33 Interfaith Terrace on the night of Nov. 30 and taken to the hospital for treatment, according to a statement from Framingham Fire Chief Michael D. Dutcher, Fire Marshal Jon M. Davine, and Middlesex County District Attorney Marian T. Ryan.

One of those women, 49-year-old Leyla Mendieta, died on December 3, officials said. The second, 23-year-old Nathalya Samaniego, has also died. Mendieta and Samaniego were mother and daughter.
