PROVO, Utah – The College Football Playoff never has a shortage of drama. While most of the drama centered on the debate between Miami and Notre Dame, there were also pockets of the social world bubble that took offense to BYU football getting left out of the bracket .

The 11-2 Cougars suffered two setbacks against the No. 4 Texas Tech Red Raiders this season. That was enough for the Playoff Committee to justify keeping BYU outside of the bracket.
