With winter just around the corner, house prices across Waterloo Region are dropping like the temperature.
November sales statistics from the Cornerstone Association of Realtors show the average price for all residential properties sold in the region was $713,751, a drop of 5.4 per cent from November 2024, and down 2.7 per cent from October.
Detached homes sold for an average of $827,617 last month, down 4.3 per cent year-over-year and down 1.8 per cent compared to October.
Semis sold for an average of $635,375, down 1.4 per cent from November 2024. However, this marks a 10.8 per cent increase compared to October’s results.
The average price for a townhouse last month was $595,337, a drop of 3.1 per cent from November 2024, but a slight increase of 0.5 per cent compared to October. Apa
